COLOMBO, Dec. 25 -- On December 23, local time, the officers and sailors aboard the Chinese naval hospital ship Peace Ark went to a Sri Lankan naval base and held cultural exchanges with their counterparts from the Sri Lankan Navy. The hospital ship is currently on the Mission Harmony-2024 at the port of Colombo.

科伦坡12月25日电 当地时间12月23日,正在斯里兰卡科伦坡港执行“和谐使命-2024”任务的中国海军“和平方舟”号医院船官兵代表,走进斯里兰卡海军基地,与斯里兰卡海军官兵开展文化联谊。

During the event, performances such as China's folk dance "Dunhuang Flying Apsaras", and Sri Lanka's Pooja Dance, further enhanced the understanding of each other's cultures between the two sides. And China's Sichuan Opera "Face Changing" even added a sense of mystery and magic to the Sri Lankan sailors.

The calligraphy demonstration and drum band performance by the two sides brought the event to a climax.
