JUBA, South Sudan, Dec. 30 -- Recently, the 11th Chinese Peacekeeping Infantry Battalion to the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) successfully completed the joint patrol and armed escort mission from Juba, the capital of South Sudan to the Mongalla region.

朱巴 12月30日电 近日,中国第十一批赴南苏丹(朱巴)维和步兵营圆满完成从南苏丹首都至蒙加拉地区的联合巡逻和武装护卫任务。

During the mission with a total roundtrip of more than 200 kilometers, the Chinese peacekeepers carried out armed escort, collection of regional security situation information and many other tasks. This mission comprehensively tested the ability of Chinese peacekeepers to perform duties and respond to emergencies.

此次任务,我维和官兵往返总行程共计200余公里,主要承担武装护卫、搜集周边地区安全状况等多项任务。这次联合巡逻全面检验了维和官兵遂行任务和应急处突能力,为下一步全面履行联南苏团授权任务打下了坚实基础。
