DJIBOUTI, Jan. 26 -- The Chinese People's Liberation Army's (PLA) Support Base in Djibouti held a Spring Festival (Chinese Lunar New Year) celebration & cultural exchange activity on January 23, local time. Over one hundred guests from the Djiboutian government and military sectors, other foreign troops stationed in Djibouti, Chinese Embassy in Djibouti and Chinese enterprises in Djibouti attended the activity at invitation.
吉布提1月26日电 当地时间1月23日晚，我驻吉布提保障基地举办春节文化交流活动。来自吉布提军政部门、驻吉外军、我驻吉使馆及中资企业等100余位嘉宾应邀参加。
The activity is a celebration of both the 46th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Djibouti and the Chinese Lunar New Year, aiming at reinforcing traditional friendship and friendly relations between China and Djibouti, as well as enhancing mutual trust and understanding between the Chinese and foreign militaries stationed in Djibouti. During the activity, Djibouti's teenage students and Chinese military members sang a Chinese song Friendship Forever together, driving the holiday atmosphere to the climax.
此次活动围绕庆祝中吉建交46周年和中国农历新年展开，旨在共叙传统友谊，深化中吉友好关系，增进与驻吉各国军队互信了解。活动中，吉布提青年学生和我官兵代表合唱的《友谊地久天长》，将现场气氛推向高潮。
