BEIJING, April 10 -- Recently, the 11th Chinese Peacekeeping Infantry Battalion to the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) conducted a comprehensive drill involving all personnel, full equipment, and all elements. Set in the context of an armed conflict in the mission area, the comprehensive drill covered training exercises on authorized tasks including emergency risk avoidance, camp defense, evacuation of the wounded, refugee influx control, and establishment of temporary operating bases (TOBs).
北京4月10日电 近日,中国维和步兵营开展全员全装全要素综合演练。此次综合演练以任务区发生武装冲突为背景,展开紧急避险、营区防卫、伤员后送、控制流民涌入、建立临时行动基地(TOB)等授权任务实兵演练。
By means of debriefing, document reviewing, tabletop exercise, and on-site inspection, the UNMISS conducted comprehensive and objective analysis and assessment of the Chinese peacekeeping infantry battalion on command and planning capabilities, combat readiness, emergency response, weapon and equipment performance, authorized task execution and other capabilities.

The two-day drill and assessment gave an overall examination of the Chinese peacekeepers' combat readiness awareness and emergency response capabilities. The UNMISS assessment team spoke highly of the Chinese peacekeepers for their excellent performance on every capability indicator.
在两天的演练评估中,官兵战备意识和应急处突能力得到了全方位综合检验,各项能力指标均达到优秀,受到评估小组高度评价和赞誉。
