CHANGSHA, China, May 12 -- From May 9 to 11, nearly 100 young and middle-aged military officers from over 40 African countries visited the Chinese PLA National University of Defense Technology (NUDT) in Changsha City and had exchanges with Chinese young military cadets.
长沙5月12日电 5月9日至11日，由非洲40多个国家的近百名中青年军官组成的代表团走进国防科技大学，与青年学员进行对话交流。
During the visit, the African military officers attended theme lectures, viewed the scientific research achievements of the university, and observed the basic military training of the Chinese military cadets. They will also visit Guangzhou and Shenzhen cities in south China's Guangdong Province in the following days.
在校访问期间，代表团聆听主题讲座，参观学校科研成果，观看学员军事基础训练。接下来他们还将前往广州、深圳参观访问。
It is learned that the event is organized by the Chinese Ministry of National Defense (MND) and hosted by the NUDT, aiming to enhance mutual understanding among young and middle-aged military officers from China and Africa and further deepen the friendship between China and Africa.
据了解，本次活动有中国国防部主办、国防科技大学具体承办，旨在增进中非青年军官相互了解和交流，进一步推动发展中非友好事业。
