China's Coast Guard and Russia's Federal Security Service signed a memorandum of understanding on strengthening cooperation in maritime law enforcement at a high-level meeting held this week.
The meeting was conducted in Murmansk, Russia on Monday and Tuesday, during which both sides discussed future cooperation and exchanged views on topics of common interest, according to a news release by the Coast Guard on Thursday.
The two agreed to jointly implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, actively promote maritime law enforcement cooperation, jointly build a maritime community with a shared future and fully serve the China-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership.
