BEIJING, Mar. 20 -- Recently, a task unit of a frigate flotilla under the navy of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Eastern Theater Command conducted a round-the-clock training exercise covering several sea areas and various subjects together with the PLA air force and the China Coast Guard (CCG), significantly improving their cooperation level and joint strike capabilities.
During the exercise, they also carried out coordinated training on emergency situations such as violent resistance against the law enforcement operations of the CCG vessels.
