BEIJING, June 18 -- On June 16, Shanghang County of Longyan City, southeast China's Fujian Province, was struck by continuous heavy rainfall, leaving many houses collapsed and people stranded.
The Longyan Detachment under the Chinese People's Armed Police (PAP) Force responded quickly and launched the emergency rescue mechanism, and rushed to the rescue with all kinds of disaster relief equipment.
As of now, the rescue operations are still underway in Shanghang County, and the PAP troops are fighting on the front line, sparing no efforts to save people's lives and property.
