VICTORIA, SEYCHELLES, Apr. 22 -- The 45th Chinese naval escort taskforce arrived at port of Victoria in Seychelles on April 18 for a five-day goodwill visit.

At about 9:00 a.m. local time, the destroyer Urumqi, the frigate Linyi and the comprehensive supply ship Dongpinghu attached to the escort taskforce, decorated with hanging national flags of China and Seychelles, slowly sailed to port of Victoria in Seychelles. They were welcomed by more than 100 people, including representatives of the Seychellois military, staff of the Chinese Embassy in Seychelles, members of the Chinese medical team to Seychelles and local overseas Chinese.

After the ships docked, the welcoming crowd boarded and visited the Chinese naval ships in batches.

During the visit, the taskforce carried out official courtesy calls, friendly sports games, deck receptions and other exchange activities.
