Chinese peacekeeping level-2 hospital to MONUSCO passes UN operational effectiveness inspection

BUKAVU, Mar. 18 -- The 27th Chinese Peacekeeping Level-II Hospital to the United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO) passed all items of the operational effectiveness inspection conducted by the MONUSCO with high standard on March 15, local time.

From March 11 to 15, the UN inspection team members conducted static checks on the conditions of weapons and equipment, communication devices and vehicle performances. They also evaluated the operational effectiveness of the Chinese contingent in emergency response, security defense and rapid rescue through a field maneuver.

This was the last time for this contingent to receive the MONUSCO operational effectiveness inspection during its mission period. Since its deployment tothis area in September 2023, the medical contingent has treated 509 patients, conducted 562 examinations of all kinds, and efficiently completed several emergency rescue tasks.
