Chinese peacekeepers to South Sudan (Juba) pass UN combat-readiness assessment

BEIJING, Sept. 23 -- Recently, the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) and the UNMISS Sector Juba organized the second combat-readiness capability assessment of the 10th Chinese Peacekeeping Infantry Battalion to South Sudan (Juba) in 2024.

The assessment comprehensively tested the capabilities of Chinese peacekeeping troops in combat-readiness training, performing authorized missions, civil-military coordination, logistics and equipment support. The Chinese peacekeeping infantry battalion passed the assessment with excellent performance.
