JUBA, South Sudan, Dec. 30 -- Recently, the 11th Chinese Peacekeeping Infantry Battalion to the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) successfully completed the joint patrol and armed escort mission from Juba, the capital of South Sudan to the Mongalla region.
During the mission with a total roundtrip of more than 200 kilometers, the Chinese peacekeepers carried out armed escort, collection of regional security situation information and many other tasks. This mission comprehensively tested the ability of Chinese peacekeepers to perform duties and respond to emergencies.
