Peacekeepers assigned to the 15th Chinese Peacekeeping Horizontal Engineering Company to the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) set off for a supply line construction task on Feb. 4, 2025.
WAU, South Sudan, Feb. 7 -- At the Super Camp of Wau in South Sudan on Tuesday, the 15th Chinese Peacekeeping Horizontal Engineering Company to the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) held a breaking ceremony for a construction task of supply line from Lunyaker Town to Warrap State. With a total length of 35 kilometers, the supply line will serve as a critical passage supporting the lives of people along the way.
The Chinese Peacekeeping Horizontal Engineering Company dispatched 41 members to perform the construction task. During the construction, all members will be camping outside. It is learnt that the construction task is expected to be finished in 21 working days.
