HONG KONG, Aug. 14 -- The closing ceremony of the 10th military summer camp for Hong Kong college students was held at the San Wai Barracks of the Chinese PLA Hong Kong Garrison on August 13.
In this summer camp, 150 Hong Kong college students received military training courses including physical training, formation training, and laser-simulated shooting. They also engaged in a small-scale athletic meet with the troops, thereby enjoying a full and meaningful time in the camp.
John Lee Ka-Chiu, chief executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), Lai Ruxin, political commissar of the Chinese PLA Hong Kong Garrison, and other guests attended the closing ceremony.
Over the past 26 years since the Chinese PLA Hong Kong Garrison entered Hong Kong, it has always been focusing on enhancing communication and exchanges with all sectors of society in Hong Kong. This year's military summer camp for Hong Kong college students is the tenth in its series.
