BEIJING, Aug. 15 -- The hospital ship Peace Ark, which had just finished a seven-day humanitarian medical service task in Vanuatu, departed for the Solomon Islands on August 15. As of August 12, Peace Ark had served 707 child patients from Kiribati, Tonga, and Vanuatu, sending health and hope to over 700 families.
