BEIJING Sep. 11 -- At the invitation of the Mexican Secretariat of National Defense (SEDENA), a military delegation of the Chinese People's Liberation Army will attend, in Mexico from 13 to 17 September, the celebration of the 213th anniversary of the country's struggle for independence. Meanwhile, a PLA honor guard team will participate in the military parade during the ceremony.
This year also marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of China-Mexico comprehensive strategic partnership. Participation of the delegation in the celebration demonstrates the friendly Chinese-Mexican military relations and the great importance China attaches to the friendship between the two countries and the two militaries.
