The team of Nigerian midshipmen, along with five teams of foreign midshipmen studying in Chinese naval academies, participated in land events such as the pipeline wrapping race and sailing cable technology race. Besides, representatives from seven foreign military academies, including Russia and Singapore, made on-scene observations.

After the competition, the Naval International Cadets Week will be held from October 18 to October 21, which includes academic exchanges and seminars, visits to military facilities, and friendly exchange activities, aiming to promote interactive exchanges between naval cadets from Chinese and foreign military academies, foster international inter-school cooperation, and enhance the cultural communication skills and qualities of naval cadets.
