BEIJING, Nov. 9 -- According to the annual plan for border defense exchanges and cooperation between China and Mongolia, the two militaries will hold the Border Defense Cooperation-2023 joint drill in the border region near the Changji Hui autonomous prefecture in Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region on November 10.
With the theme of "China-Mongolia Joint Action to Curb Border Crimes", the joint drill aims to enhance the capability of the two countries' border defense forces to jointly combat cross-border smuggling and terrorist activities, jointly maintain peace and tranquility in the border areas, and further deepen pragmatic exchanges and cooperation between the two militaries.
