Peacekeepers of the 27th Chinese Peacekeeping Level-II Hospital to UN Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO) visited the International SOS Children's Village in Bukavu on January 6, 2024.
BUKAVU, Jan. 9 -- Peacekeepers of the 27th Chinese Peacekeeping Level-II Hospital to UN Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO) visited the International SOS Children's Village in Bukavu on January 6, 2024. They interacted with the children and carried out free clinic and material donation activities.
In 2005, this medical detachment was shifted from Kindu to the Bukavu mission area. Since then, the Chinese officers and soldiers have developed a tradition of assisting the SOS Children's Village, a charitable organization that supports individual children, young people and families, with love passed on from one batch to another.
