BERUIT, Mar. 25 -- Recently, the 22nd Chinese peacekeeping troops to the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) conducted an emergency defense drill without early warning.
The drill was set under the scenario of an air strike and the influx of refugees. During the drill, the Chinese peacekeeping troops managed to stop the hostile activities via radio warning, warning shots, and evidence collection according to the UN rules of engagement.
The drill further enhanced the rapid response and emergency handling capabilities of the Chinese peacekeepers.
