Armored vehicles from the Chinese participating troops launch an attack.
BEIJING, May 17 -- The first round of armored vehicle joint training of China-Mongolia Steppe Partner-2024 was held at a training ground in Dornogovi Province of Mongolia on the morning of May 16.
It officially kicked off at about 10 a.m., and more than a hundred armored vehicles from both sides launched an attack on the targeted area. During the training, two militaries overcame differences in equipment, personnel structure, commanding and communication methods, and worked hard together with an increasingly closed cooperation.
According to the commander of the Chinese participating troops, the two sides focused on improving the accuracy of joint operations, and the joint combat capabilities have been significantly improved.
Both sides also analyzed the problems exposed during the joint training, and further modified the content of the following field operations. It is learnt that both participating troops will conduct their first joint live-fire exercise in the next stage.
