BREST, Belarus, July 23 -- The closing ceremony of the China-Belarus Eagle Assault-2024 joint army training was held in a training ground near Brest, Belarus on July 18, local time. Representatives of the participating troops from both sides attended the ceremony.

At the closing ceremony, troops' commanders from both sides delivered speeches. They highlighted that over the course of more than ten days, the two sides achieved expected goals with close collaboration, and enhanced mutual trust and friendship. Following the speeches, commanders from the Belarusian side awarded commemorative medals and prizes to Chinese participants with excellent performance in the joint army training.

After the closing ceremony, officers and soldiers from both sides took group photos and exchanged souvenirs.

It is learned that the exercise, set under a scenario of counter-terrorism operations, started in early July. The two troops adopted mixed groups to jointly carry out operations on reconnaissance and search, blockade, joint strikes, multidimensional infiltration and joint anti-terrorism. It aimed to enhance the training level and coordination capabilities of the participating troops and deepen practical cooperation between the two armies.
