ZHUHAI, Nov. 12 -- The 15th  China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition, also known as Airshow China or the Zhuhai Airshow 2024, kicked off in Zhuhai City, south China's Guangdong Province on Tuesday.

General Chang Dingqiu, commander of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF)  delivered an opening speech at the opening ceremony. He stressed the necessity of opening up for communication and progressing together.

Military officials from various countries' air forces participated in the opening ceremony and watched the flight performance.

The airshow, which features spectacular aerospace performances and showcases the latest advanced military equipment for global visitors, is scheduled to last from November 12 to 17.

The airshow has attracted a total of 1,022 exhibitors from 47 countries, including Russia, France, the United States, Saudi Arabia and Italy.
