BEIJING, Nov. 22 -- The 12th International Defense Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS 2024) kicked off on Tuesday in Karachi, the largest city of Pakistan. Military delegations and defense companies from more than 50 countries, including China, and more than 500 exhibitors attended the four-day expo.
The Chinese exhibition group includes China Aerospace Long March International Trading Co. (ALIT), China National Precision Machinery Import & Export Corporation, China National Aero-Technology Import & Export Corporation.(CATIC), China Shipbuilding Trading Co., Ltd. (CSTC), China North Industries Corp. (NORINCO), CETC International Co., Ltd. (CETC), and ELINC China Co., Ltd . (ELINC).
A number of high-end equipment brought by Chinese companies have attracted the attention of many professional participants and media, including the GL6 active protection system, HZT24B tracked impact bridge, HQ-16FE (LY-80B) medium- and long-range air defense missile weapon system, CHL-906 key area protection radar reconnaissance and jamming system, and CHL-803 miniaturized radar signal reconnaissance equipment.
It is learnt that Chinese military trade companies have participated in the exhibition for 22 years since the first exhibition was held.
