BEIJING, Nov. 25 -- Recently, the Chinese military medical team carried out joint medical service, academic lectures, health education and other activities at different places in Laos after completing the China-Laos "Peace Train-2024" joint humanitarian medical rescue exercise.
In Lao Military Hospital 103, Military Hospital 107 and Luang Namtha Military Hospital, the Chinese military medical team brought a group of experts from more than 40 clinical specialties such as cardiovascular surgery, neurosurgery, and traditional Chinese medicine. The Chinese military medical team adopted specialized clinics, medical tours, and remote consultations to provide the best possible medical service to the Lao military and people.
During the free medical service, the Chinese military medical team also conducted lectures, surgical training, and operation training according to the needs of the Lao side and updated the latest medical concepts with the Lao side.
It is learnt that this is the fifth time that the "Peace Train" medical team has come to Laos to provide medical service to local military members and ordinary people.
