ALGIERS, Nov. 26 -- The Chinese naval hospital ship "Peace Ark," currently on the Mission Harmony-2024, left Algiers Port in Algeria for Djibouti at around 9 a.m. local time on Monday after completing the technical stop.
Algerian military officials, staff from the Chinese Embassy in Algeria and other representatives saw the Chinese hospital ship off at the dock.
During the five-day technical stop, the hospital ship organized open ship day activities. Algerian doctors, officers, local university students, as well as overseas Chinese and personnel from Chinese-funded institutions boarded the ship for visit.
The ship's crew members also visited the local army museum and organized a friendly football match with their Algerian counterparts. Through the in-depth exchanges, they enhanced mutual understanding and deepened friendship.
