Chinese peacekeepers conduct cultural exchange in University of Juba

JUBA, Jan. 27 -- The peacekeepers of the 11th Chinese Peacekeeping Infantry Battalion to the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) engaged in a cultural exchange activity in the University of Juba at the eve of the Spring Festival (Chinese Lunar New year).

During the activity, the Chinese peacekeepers performed Chinese tea ceremony, Martial arts, Tai Chi, and other wonderful artistic programs, which won bursts of applause from the scene. Subsequently, the Chinese peacekeepers also donated books and other holiday gifts, such as Chinese knots, to the teachers and students of the school, in an attempt to further deepen mutual understanding and friendship.
