Exercise AMAN-2025: Pakistani Chief of Naval Staff Visits Chinese Naval Supply Ship

BEIJING, Feb. 10 -- On February 8, local time, amid the Multinational Maritime Exercise AMAN-2025, Pakistani Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf boarded the Chinese PLA Navy's comprehensive supply ship Gaoyouhu (Hull 904) for a visit, which was docking at the Port of Karachi.

Admiral Naveed Ashraf first had a face-to-face communication with the captain and senior officers of ship Gaoyouhu (Hull 904) and then visited different sections of the ship. He also listened to the introduction of basic parameters of relevant equipment onboard, and the missions of the 47th Chinese naval escort taskforce.

After the visit, Admiral Naveed Ashraf had a group meeting with the representatives of Chinese naval escort taskforce and extended his best wishes to the Chinese PLA Navy. He spoke highly of the participation of Chinese PLA Navy in the Multinational Maritime Exercise AMAN-2025 and expressed satisfaction with the current cooperation between the Pakistani and Chinese navies.
