BEIJING, Mar. 18 -- Recently, the 5th Chinese Peacekeeping Military Utility Helicopter Unit to the United Nations Interim Security Force for Abyei (UNISFA) passed the equipment inspection organized by the United Nations for the first quarter of 2025.
The inspection team checked 45 items including barrack facilities, vehicles and equipment, weapons and ammunition, medical equipment, and personal essentials. The team concluded that all the equipment and materials of the Chinese peacekeeping helicopter unit are in line with the UN standards and the Chinese unit is capable of continuing to conduct peacekeeping missions.
