BEIJING, Mar. 19 -- The final selection phase of the 2025 pilot recruitment program of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) was fully initiated in mid-February and will last until late April.
More than 1,000 high school graduates from Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Jiangxi, Fujian and other provinces and cities recently received comprehensive evaluations on their physical conditions, psychological traits and flight potential at the Nanjing Selection Center of the PLAAF Pilot Recruitment Bureau.
The final selection phase mainly consists of medical and psychological evaluations, with the medical evaluation encompassing more than 100 different tests.
This year's pilot recruitment selection has incorporated cutting-edge technologies and equipment, such as wearable dynamic electrocardiogram monitoring and AI-assisted evaluation systems, which enhanced the scientific rigor and precision of the selection criteria.
After passing the medical evaluation, the candidates are required to receive psychological tests to thoroughly evaluate their psychological qualities and flight potential through flight-related capability tests.
