BEIJING, Mar. 31-- The 5th International Military Sports Council (CISM) Military World Winter Games wrapped up in Lucerne, Switzerland, on March 29, local time. The 64-member Chinese military sports delegation completed all the competitions.
Nearly 1,000 military athletes from 43 countries took part in the event. The Chinese military signed up to participate in seven major competitions including ski mountaineering, biathlon, cross-country skiing, patrol race, ski orienteering, climbing, and cross-country running, achieving excellent results such as third place in men's team and fourth place in women's team of ski mountaineering, eighth place in women's middle-distance ski orienteering, and seventh place in women's individual speed climbing.
