BEIJING, April 2 -- "The ground force of the Chinese PLA Eastern Theater Command (ETC) conducted long-range live-fire shooting drills in relevant waters of the East China Sea according to the plan of 'Strait Thunder 2025A' training exercise on April 2," said Army Senior Colonel Shi Yi, spokesperson for the PLA ETC, on Wednesday, adding that the drills involved precision strikes on such simulated targets as key ports and energy facilities, and achieved expected results.
