BEIJING, May 6 -- On the morning of May 1, the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Garrison stationed in the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) launched the 19th open day event at the Taipa barracks.
During this year's event, the barracks was opened to the primary, secondary, and college students as well as residents in Macao for three consecutive days. During the event, the national flag-raising ceremony, military training course demonstrations, military equipment displays, in-person training experience, parties and performances, and other activities were presented to visitors.
