BEIJING, May 19 -- The sailing vessel 286-Le Quy Don assigned to the Vietnam People's Navy left a military port in Guangzhou City, south China's Guangdong Province on the morning of May 16, after successfully completing a five-day friendship visit.
During the visit, the Chinese and Vietnamese navies organized ship visit, cultural exchange, welcome reception, professional skills exchange, and other exchange activities, which further enhanced the mutual understanding and trust between the two navies and deepened the friendship between the two sides.
Officers and soldiers of the Vietnamese ship also visited the Guangdong Museum, the Canton Tower, the former site of the Vietnam Revolutionary Youth League, and other places, thus witnessing the achievements of China's economic and social development and feeling Guangzhou's profound historical heritage.
