GULF OF ADEN, June 9 -- Recently, the 47th Chinese naval escort taskforce conducted underway replenishment (UNREP) in the Gulf of Aden. The comprehensive supply ship Gaoyouhu (Hull 904) performed alongside replenishment with the guided-missile destroyer Baotou (Hull 133). The taskforce also carried out training on such subjects as ship-borne helicopter flight and light weapons live-fire shooting to enhance the troops' quick response and joint combat capabilities.
