Chinese peacekeeping construction engineering company to Lebanon passes UN equipment inspection

BEIJING, June 11 -- Recently, the 23rd Chinese Peacekeeping Construction Engineering Company to the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) underwent its first UN equipment inspection during mission period, with all equipment and materials meeting the inspection standards of the UN.

The equipment inspection team was composed of officers from 10 departments of the UNIFIL Command, including transportation, maintenance, medical service, and fuel departments. Through debriefing, on-site inspection, and installation operations, the inspection team conducted a comprehensive verification and assessment of the detachment's engineering machinery, weapons and ammunition, barracks facilities, and other materials and equipment.

After comprehensive verification and assessment, the inspection team unanimously agreed that the equipment and materials of the Chinese peacekeeping construction engineering company were of good performance and the Chinese peacekeeping troops demonstrated strong professional competence and proficient operational skills, which all met UN standards.
