Anti-stealth radar, counter-drone system on show at 2023 World Radar Expo

BEIJING, April 18 -- The 10th World Radio Detection and Ranging Expo in 2023, along with the 3rd "Radar and the Future" Global Summit 2023, was held at the Beijing Shougang Convention and Exhibition Center from April 13 to 15, displaying the latest technologies, products and new trends in the radar industry.

At the exhibition site, the Chinese solutions countering stealth aircraft and drones received a lot of attention. As a leading enterprise in this field, China Electronics Technology Group Corporation (CETC) showcased plenty of cutting-edge technology and equipment, including YLC-2E S-band multifunctional radar, YLC-16 S-band multifunctional warning radar, YLC-12 C-band multifunctional radar, three-sided array low-altitude monitoring radar, JYL-1A long-range 3D surveillance radar, JY-27A long-range air surveillance & guidance radar, etc. Adapted to different needs on early warning and detection, these advanced radar systems are widely used in the fields of air defense, anti-missile and anti-stealth, as well as the surveillance and attack on low, slow and small targets.

The 3rd “Radar and the Future" Global Summit 2023 held in conjunction with the event set up 16 sub-forums concerning the application of radar in various fields, including space development, disaster prevention and mitigation, automotive electronics, smart medicine, ubiquitous perception, microwave vision, as well as future military electronics, aiming to explore innovative application of radar and related electronic information engineering technology in the transformation and development of economic and social digitization.

Jointly launched by the China Radio Detection and Ranging Industry Association (CRIA), China Electronics Technology Group Corporation (CEIC) and China Electronics Corporation (CEC), the World Radar Expo was held every two years from 2001. The 2023 Expo was attended by nearly 500 enterprises, over 100 academicians and experts at home and abroad, and over 50 diplomatic envoys in China from 24 countries and regions.

China’s SLC-7 anti-stealth radar known as the "all-around champion" is displayed at the 10th 2023 World Radar Expo.

The YLC-12 radar is displayed at the 10th 2023 World Radar Expo.

The lightweight low-altitude surveillance radar dubbed the “spider web” is displayed at the 10th 2023 World Radar Expo.

The JN1101 vehicular comprehensive counter-drone system is displayed at the 10th 2023 World Radar Expo.
