China launches Suvorov Attack and Safe Route competitions of the Internarional Army Games 2022

The opening ceremony of the competitions of the International Army Games 2022 was held at the training ground of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) in Korla. People's Republic of China is hosting two competitions this year: Suvorov Attack, a competition for infantry fighting vehicle crews, and Safe Route, a competition for engineering units.

This year, 2 teams from the Russian side will take part in the Suvorov Attack, one of which will be using a modern domestic BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicle, and the other using equipment provided by the Chinese side - ZBD-86A infantry fighting vehicles. Safe Routes team will perform on equipment provided by the Chinese side.

A total of 9 teams from 5 states (Republic of Belarus, Russian Federation, Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Islamic Republic of Iran and People's Republic of China) arrived at the PLA Ground Forces Training Centre to participate in the International Army Games 2022.
