PANO – The Tra Linh Talks Border Post (Cao Bang province, Vietnam) and the Jingxi Talks Border Station (Guangxi, China) have reviewed their coordination in the second quarter of this year.
Over the period, the two sides held regular meetings to exchange information about situations in the shared border areas, seriously implemented their signed cooperation agreements, and raised the public’s awareness of three legal documents on land border and border gates.
They held joint patrols from border maker 730 to border maker 734, and from border maker 737 to border maker 742.
At the talks, both units agreed to continue to observe a border cooperation agreement inked by the Vietnamese and Chinese Defense Ministries as well as the minutes of the meeting.
Accordingly, they will hold more talks and joint patrols, closely coordinate in dealing with emerging issues in line with the laws of each country, and educate troops and people along the shared border to follow the two countries’ laws on border management in order to maintain stability, security, and order in border areas.
