JUBA, South Sudan, Feb. 8 -- Recently, the 9th Chinese peacekeeping infantry battalion to the United Nations Mission in the Republic of South Sudan (UNMISS) passed the first equipment inspection in 2023 with high standards.
The inspection team of the UNMISS inspected and assessed more than 200 pieces of equipment, more than 7,000 items of materials in 38 categories, and more than 70 categories of assets in the Chinese peacekeeping infantry battalion. All equipment passed the inspection at one time.
