BEIJING, Aug.18 -- Soldiers assigned to a detachment of the Chinese People's Armed Police (PAP) Force's Second Mobile Corps erected a bridge to restore the damaged road during a recent disaster relief exercise. Set in a scenario that a bridge was damaged by the floods, the exercise aimed to enhance the troops' emergency response capabilities in dealing with sudden natural disasters.
