BEIJING, Aug.21 -- Recently, an engineering and chemical defense brigade of the Chinese PLA 71st Group Army organized a blasting squad to conduct an explosive disposal exercise in northern Anhui Province, central China. A new type of explosive ordnance disposal robot played an important role in the exercise, which tested the operators' professional skills and the effectiveness of new equipment in a coordinated way, and enhanced the troops' emergency rescue capability.
