LANZHOU, Sept. 19 -- The first batch of the 27th Chinese Peacekeeping Troops to United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO) , consisting of 109 members, set off at Lanzhou Zhongchuan International Airport, northwest China’s Gansu province, by a chartered flight on the afternoon of September 18. They were leaving for Bukavu city, South Kivu province of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), to relieve the 26th Chinese peacekeeping contingent on the mission there, and take on a one-year peacekeeping mission.
