BEIJING, Jan. 24 -- Recently, destroyers Kaifeng and Chengdu and frigate Zaozhuang, which are attached to a destroyer flotilla with the navy under the Chinese PLA Northern Theater Command, conducted actual-combat training for several consecutive days in the Yellow Sea.
During the training, an incoming unknown aerial target was observed. The frigate Zaozhuang launched decoys for air defense, and fired its close-in weapon system at the same time to intercept the target.
