Chinese peacekeeping medical contingent to DRC conducts joint drill with Pakistani counterpart

BEIJING, Jan. 24 -- On January 22, local time, the 27th Chinese Peacekeeping Level-II Hospital to the United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO) conducted a joint emergency drill with its Pakistani counterpart. The drill, set in the scenario of a grenade attack on a Pakistani barrack, focused on injury evaluation, emergency communication, emergency rescue, aerial evacuation and other subjects, with the Chinese Level-II Hospital as the main relief force. The drill has effectively tested the medical contingent's capabilities for battlefield emergency rescue and collaborative medical support.
