BEIJING, Mar. 19 -- Recently, pursuant to the authorization of the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) and the order of the Juba theater of operation, the 10th Chinese Peacekeeping Infantry Battalion to UNMISS conducted a joint patrol with the UN military observers and UN policemen and provided armed escort for the UN staff carrying out security investigations and humanitarian assistance activities.
