BEIRUT, Apr. 24 -- The 22nd Chinese Peacekeeping Troops to the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), consisting of the Multi-role Engineering Company, the Construction Engineering Company and the Level-1 + Hospital, recently organized a reading exchange activity.

During the activity, the Chinese peacekeepers went to the library to select their favorite books, read them carefully and communicated with each other. After that, the activity moved to the reading-sharing session, in which the peacekeepers shared their thoughts and insights on reading, learning and growing.

It is learned that since its deployment in December last year, the contingent has actively utilized reading resources based on existing conditions and regularly conducted reading exchanges and speech contests. These activities aim to encourage the peacekeepers to increase their wisdom and knowledge, and facilitate the enhancement of their military capability and successful fulfillment of the peacekeeping mission.
