UDON THANI, Thailand, Aug. 20 -- The first day of the China-Thailand "Falcon Strike 2024" joint air force training exercises tarted at Udorn Royal Thai Air Force Base (UdornRTAFB) in Thailand on Monday morning. Fighter jets, fighter-bombers, helicopters and various equipment and special operations units from the Chinese PLA participated in the exercise.
The joint training exercise consists of five phases: cross-border support, forces deployment, joint air defense, joint strike, and review and discussion. It aims to strengthen the military cooperation between China and Thailand and facilitate their response to common security challenges.
