BEIJING, Dec. 3 -- A naval frigate detachment assigned to the Chinese PLA Northern Theater Command conducted 72-hour multi-subject maritime training recently in the Yellow Sea.
The training involved three Type 056A guided-missile frigates Qinhuangdao (Hull 656), Dingzhou (Hull 603), and Huangshi (Hull 655).
The training aimed to boost the frigates' air defense, maritime strike, coordinated operation, and emergency response capabilities.
