Chinese doctors provide first-aid training for Sri Lankan military medics

COLOMBO, Dec. 24 -- On the morning of December 23, local time, the Chinese naval hospital ship Peace Ark, which is currently on the Mission Harmony-2024, sent an expert team to the Sri Lanka Navy Hospital in Colombo to conduct battlefield first-aid skills training. The Chinese experts provided detailed instructions on methods of rapid hemostasis, dressing different body parts, and fracture fixation.

After the training, at the invitation of the head of the Sri Lanka Navy Hospital, the Chinese experts toured the teaching laboratory of a nursing school, the emergency room, the intensive care unit (ICU), and the biochemical laboratory.
